On Wednesday, September 30 at 19:00, the group exhibition Lex Hortorum, The law of the garden, curated by Eleni Koukou, opens in the garden of a detached house in Psychico.

Participating artists: Anthromorph, Valentina Bartolini, Ioli Kavakou, Demi Kaia, Nikomachi Karakostanoglou, Sevastiana Konstaki, Maria Louizou, Natalia Manta, Chara Marantidou, Maria Nikiforaki, Malvina Panagiotidi, Natalia Papadopoulou and Katerina Zacharopoulou

Lex Hortorum was a customary law of the Italian Renaissance with its roots in Ancient Rome: owners granted public access to their gardens, which were considered places of recreation, reflection, and philosophical coexistence. The group exhibition Lex Hortorum, The law of the garden brings this idea into the present day. A space of privilege temporarily becomes accessible and is transformed into a space for dialogue and shared life. At the same time, the exhibition Lex Hortorum, The law of the garden supports the need to safeguard the character and memory of a historic suburb of Athens.

The exhibition Lex Hortorum, The law of the garden aspires to be organized on an annual basis, activating the garden during different seasons of the year and showcasing different versions of the relationships created with the artworks over time.

Address: 15 Antheon Street, Psychico
