From 13 October 2026 to 29 March 2027, Iva Lulashi presents Sotto quale albero (Beneath Which Tree) at Spazio ARCA, housed in the former Church of San Marco in Vercelli, Italy. Presented by the Giuseppe Iannaccone Collection, the exhibition brings together ten paintings by Lulashi, including two works previously shown at the Albanian Pavilion of the 2024 Venice Biennale.
Presented alongside an exhibition of 60 original works by Marc Chagall, Lulashi’s paintings enter into a dialogue across generations, exploring desire, the body, freedom and identity. Through intimate, often ambiguous scenes, her work examines the relationship between private experience and the external gaze, inviting viewers to reflect on the complexities of human desire and individual freedom.
