Auction Lots is a photo of found war machinery, specifically original bullets from machine guns from the Libyan and Syrian wars. Collected after the end of battles, they find their way to the market through auctions. The bullets that are made in European countries in the first place, are returned to get melted and turned into the primary source for everyday objects in a cyclical recycling process. Works by Socratis Socratous (b. in Paphos, Cyprus, 1971) are included in the Collection of Centre Pompidou, Paris; the Belvedere Museum, Vienna; the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art; the State Collection of Cypriot Contemporary Art.
