Angelo Plessas (1974, GR) is an artist based in Athens. His practice deals with the dimensions of the internet. He often creates interactive websites by making use of a particular symbology he also exploits by his mixed-media installations. Since 2012 he organizes the Eternal Internet Brother / Sisterhood , a gathering with internet friends in remote locations. His works were shown in solo and group exhibitions including PAC, Milano (2015); Frieze Projects, London (2013); National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens (2011); and Valencia Biennial (2005).

BAU invited Angelo Plessas to realize the permanent installation Extropic Optimisms 2 in the context of Art & Nature 2016 .
